About the Thematic Area

About the Thematic Area

In many rural communities, women and girls face challenges related to health, hygiene, nutrition, and access to safe spaces. These gaps affect not just their well-being, but also their participation in education, livelihoods, and community life.

Newage works to address these challenges through a structured, community-based approach that integrates health, sanitation, awareness, and support systems. When women are healthy, informed, and confident, families and communities move forward together.

Our Approach

Integrated women& Community Wellbeing

This program works to improve the health and well-being of women, adolescent girls and underserved families through a simple, community-based approach. It focuses on important areas like menstrual hygiene and sanitation, access to basic healthcare and awareness around nutrition. The program also promotes gender equality and creates safe spaces for women and girls, while providing emergency and seasonal support whenever needed to reduce vulnerability and improve overall quality of life.

Improves health, builds confidence, and increases participation of women in community and economic activities.
