Muskaan Choubisa – Rising Star in Kickboxing

In a small village called Nimdi near Bhinder, there was a girl who had barely been exposed to sports. That girl was Muskaan Choubisa. Today, she is a national-level kickboxing player, a coach, and an inspiration for many young athletes.

Muskaan’s childhood was simple. She grew up in an environment where sports were not given much importance. Like many children around her, her life mostly revolved around studies.

Everything began to change when she moved to Bhinder for her education. There, she met her coach, Mr. Gaurav Kamaria. His guidance and belief in her abilities encouraged her to step into the world of sports.

At first, Muskaan started with karate. Within a year, she discovered something important—sports were not just a hobby for her; they were her dream. She decided not only to pursue it seriously but also to create a path where she could support others like her in the future.

Her family supported her in the beginning. But as she began participating in larger tournaments, the financial pressure started to grow. Training costs, travel, and competition fees became difficult to manage. There came a point when her family had no choice but to say no.

It was a difficult phase.

For nearly two months, Muskaan had to stop going to the academy. Staying away from training was one of the hardest experiences for her. Sitting at home, she felt the weight of everything she might lose. But even during that time, she did not give up on her dream. She stayed mentally focused and kept telling herself that she would return stronger.

Slowly, things began to change.

Her friends, her academy, and most importantly, her coach stood by her. With their support, she was able to return to training—and this time, with even greater determination.

Muskaan understands that injuries are part of an athlete’s journey. She faced minor injuries along the way, but she stayed disciplined with her recovery and training. Her routine reflects her commitment—waking up at 4 AM for fitness and strength training, followed by technical practice again in the evening.

The turning point came when she won her first national medal.

That moment changed everything. It gave her confidence and strengthened her belief that she was on the right path.

Her achievements reflect her hard work. Muskaan has won medals at both state and national levels in karate and kickboxing. She has also cleared referee exams in both sports and attended an international coaching camp. For her performance, she received a certificate of appreciation from the SDM.

Over the years, she has represented her district for four years, her state for three years, and has been competing at the national level for the past three years.

One of the most important moments in her journey came when her dream of reaching the international level started to feel possible.

This became a reality when the Newage Evolution Foundation connected with her coach, Mr. Gaurav, and learned about Muskaan’s journey and challenges. Recognizing her potential, the foundation extended support under the project “Levelling the Playing Field.”

Through this support, Muskaan received high-quality kickboxing gear, nutritional support, and coverage for travel expenses to competitions. This reduced a major financial burden and allowed her to focus fully on her training and performance.

For Muskaan, this was not just support—it was a turning point that gave her the stability she needed to move forward.

Today, Muskaan is not only an athlete but also a coach based in Chittorgarh. She trains young players and is especially committed to helping those who struggle due to financial limitations.

Her goal is to create opportunities for others, just as she once needed.

Her message to young people is simple: do not believe that only academics can shape your future. Sports, too, can open strong and meaningful career paths.

Looking ahead, Muskaan’s vision is clear.

In the next 3 to 5 years, she aims to win a medal at the world level and represent India on the biggest stage. Her ultimate dream is to bring pride to the country and contribute to the growth of Indian sports.

Muskaan Choubisa’s journey carries a powerful message.

No matter where you come from, with dedication, discipline and the right support, it is possible to move forward and achieve your dreams.
